Welcome to Jeff’s Place, the Jeff.Com version 2.0 web site.

Jeff.com has been painfully stale for a really long time. Well, that’s finally, slowly, changing. It may take a while, but after 15 years of nothing any change is probably a good thing.

Now, finally, I’ve been working on adding new stuff as things come to mind. My “Ramblings” page is the last few blog entries, the sort of stream-of-consciousness format which is the default for these publishing systems these days. I’ll try to keep things organized better in the “Categories” sections, where currently I have a couple postings in “Tech Toys” in which I try to share some things I’ve learned recently while setting up a new home-theater media center system, with more to follow. I have some ideas and drafts for a couple other postings and categories, hopefully I’ll be able to add to those before long as well. And there are a few random postings in the “General” category.

Anyway, thanks for visiting, and please do take a minute to check out the old photo albums as well as the new postings.
